Infant/Young Toddler Program – 6 to 18 months
Within this holistic framework, the Spanish Immersion Infant/Young Toddler Program at De Colores Learning Center is based on the belief that infants and young toddlers need consistent nurturing, caring, and love; they also need caregivers who are well prepared and knowledgeable in sound principles of child development.
The De Colores Infant/Young Todder Program, through its native Spanish-speaking caregivers, maintains a commitment to the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth of the child. Toward this end, learning is seen as a developmental process that occurs naturally and progressively within a stimulating and nurturing environment. As children transition from infants to young toddlers at De Colores, our caregivers will adapt to the changing needs of the child, assuring that they are provided stimulating and appropriate development and learning experiences.
The De Colores caregivers offer a wide variety of interesting play Spanish immersion experiences geared toward each child’s developmental level so that he/she has sufficient opportunity to explore, manipulate, and come to a better understanding of the world through his/her own efforts.
